Black Lives Matter. To everyone should matter

I’ve been following recently the political campaign in the US, Women Champions League and NBA. I would like to tell you, why black lives matter to everyone.

Lyon won Women Champions League for the 5 time in the row, which is the incredible achievement. They’ve built great team over last 5 years. It’s not only professional football, but enjoyable to watch. Delphine Cascarino is rising star of French football. Cascarino is great winger, leader, creative, imaginative and she is a fighter on the football pitch, always trying to help the team and create chance. The team is well organized, they all defend, attack, win and lose. It’s also remarkable work of the coach. They play hard pressing football, trying immediately to take back the ball when they lose it. I like the persistence of the entire team, their self-belief, winning mentality, tactics based on strong defense and quick passing football, vertical passes and creativity.

I have to admit, the competition is fierce, Paris and Wolfsburg played also brilliantly in the tournament, but they were not able to stop Lyon. President of France was impressed and celebrated the win over Wolfsburg on Twitter. He’s very passionate about football I noticed.

Players take the knee before matches. I just cannot understand why all F1 drivers didn’t do that before first race of the season in Austria. It should be obvious. Without black players, I would not be able to enjoy the tournament won by Lyon. They created the great show for all struggling people these days, which has a positive impact on everyone. I like diversity of the "Les Invincibles" from Lyon, France.

I just cannot even imagine NBA without Lebron James or Doc Rivers, Kawhi Leonard or James Harden, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Kyrie Irving. Without them this global brand would never be successful. Black lives matter to me. Who could forget the great Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Michael Jordan, Ervin Magic Johnson? The entire league would not ever been set up without black players and coaches. It’s not only global brand, marketing value and financial, but great sport, far better than social media world, gaming industry.  It's better to play basketball in non virtual world, than spend time in social media or playing video games.

We have many black players in English Premier League, Raheem Sterling for example, Sadio Mane, Tammy Abraham. They are vital for their clubs. Without them, they would not succeed. Without Sadio Mane, Liverpool would not have won the Premier League title after 30 years. They would have been waiting another year, if he hadn’t joined the club, scored goals, created chances for others.

When I was growing up, 2Pac was a star of hip-hop. I listen to his music almost every day. Music has a great impact considering culture, social issues.

What would have been, if Lewis Hamilton hadn’t joined the F1? He’s 6-times World Champion, moving towards 7th crown this year.

I met many great black people in UK 14 years ago and also in Spain. I just cannot understand racism. I'm well educated, I am aware of the history, however it is still shocking in 2020.

I think all should take a knee and be proactive to tackle racism. Otherwise, people will struggle and all of us will lose this battle. As Doc Rivers says: you don’t have to be black to be outraged, you don’t even have to be American to be outraged. Black lives matter.
