Books are your friends

Reading books will have positive impact on your life. To speak in foreign language, you need to build new vocabulary. Reading is the perfect way to do so.

In this post, I will give you tips what could you do to improve your communication skills and language by reading and listening to audio books.

Books are your friends

First of all, reading could be a great fun. I discovered that many years ago, in mid 1990s, when my parents gave me books of Aflred Szklarski, Polish author. While, I had to read boring books at school, my parents have given me books which were actually interesting and inspiring. It was great idea.

Otherwise, I would not be able to build my vocabulary in my native language and then try to read books in foreign language.

I read Alex Kava’s books in 2000s when I was at the university, just to have fun. I will give the link to the interview with Alex because her story is fascinating: http://hwcdn.libsyn.com/p/f/e/a/fea2e571a2db25ad/Friday_Morning_Coffee_Best-Selling_Author_Alex_Kava.mp3?c_id=12834831&cs_id=12834831&expiration=1597272110&hwt=26cad2e1b82915b7b209091eca405f98. Alex Ford spoke to her 3 years ago. She quited her job to pursue a dream, becoming the writer. She didn’t know whether she will succeed or not, but she took the risk and she made things happen for herself.

Her books are thrilling and fascinating at the same time. She creates the world you just want to discover and explore, although the tension she is constantly creating is often almost unbearable. Characters faces challenges which are tough, almost too difficult. Alex Kava gives you maginificent insights of characters feelings while they are under severe pressure, they face challenges and at the same time they are ordinary people, not heroes.

Reading has positive impact on mental health. It reduces stress level and it has massive impact on your imagination and creativity.

If you’re reading the book, you need to imagine what you’re reading, people, what is actually happening. Your brain builds the frames, where the entire plot is developing by the author of novel. It is much better way to study and having fun with that than watching movies in my view. It is time consuming, however it will give you more than anything else.

Read something interesting

In order to read or listen to audio books on regular basis, you need author and books which are interested. Having fun is the key.

You need to spend time to find something you’re interested in. It requires patience but it is worth doing.

New vocabulary will have positive impact on your confidence. Don’t forget, if you want to speak in foreign language, you need to gain confidence. Listening and reading will give you entire sentences to express yourself.

Conclusion

Reading is great way to build vocabulary needed to learn new language. Reading should be interesting. Being imaginative, visionary and creative will help you these days.

Shocking result at Villa Park. Aston Villa won 7:2 against the champions of England, FC Liverpool. Watkins scored hatrick in first half. Liverpool defense has been dreadful in this game for the entire 90 minutes. Villa created chances and they have taken the advantage over powerless Liverpool and won in such a dominant fashion.
