Liverpool are even better than a year ago. Champions of England want to retain their title in Premier League

Liverpool won against Arsenal 3:1. The Reds were too good for massively improved Arsenal team. Trent Alexander-Arnold plays like a winger, not defender, Virgil Van Dijk the same. Jurgen Klopp set up the team, which can defend and attack. All players are brilliant on the ball and off the ball. The quality is there and tactics as well. The depth of the squad is impressive. Jota and Minamino are perfect role players. Salah, Firmino and Mane hold responsibility for scoring, however they are replaced, when it is the best option for the mighty Liverpool team. Wijnaldum, Fabinho and Keita are solid at the midfield, particularly on defense.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and also Andrew Robertson are probably the best defenders we have seen in recent years. They can defend and create chances. Their crosses and clearances are always impressive. Liverpool are good in terms of set pieces. Virgil Van Dijk is always at the box to score. They transformed the game.

Arsenal have been improved by Arteta, former player, currently manager. They are highly motivated to score, they not give it up when they are on the back foot, Lacazette could equalize the game at Anfield. They are creative, but the chemistry and experience are not there yet. However, Arsenal progression is impressive. Arteta laid solid foundations for great team. Now, they need to work hard to deliver. The mentality and atmosphere are different however, under current coach they are moving toward the right direction, but it takes time to elevate the team from mid-pack to first two, trying to win the title.

Premier League delivers great entertainment and it improves all the time. Both Liverpool and Arsenal are better than year ago, when they met. It is the DNA of the Premier League – progression, improvement and the entertainment at the highest level. We miss fans, but we have great season coming up.
