Robert Lewandowski 4:3 Hertha Berlin. Robert Lewandowski has world at his feet. Literally

Polish central forward has been carrying the entire Bayern team recently giving all Polish and German fans something to smile about.

Bayern played not well against Hertha Berlin last weekend. The Champions of Europe struggle due to congested calendar and injuries. Leroy Sane could not play, Boateng and Tolisso are not good enough to play under Hans-Dieter Flick team. They need to be sharper and focused, keeping their opponents at bay. Bayern need central defenders and midfielders capable of defending all the time. Davies and Richards need more time to live up with the expectations. They signed Costa and Sarr, but I cannot help thinking they need world class players, like Sane, but in defense. They need acquisitions to be made.

The calendar is congested and fitness will play crucial role this season. Bayern could not rely only on Robert. He needs more from his teammates, Gnabry cannot be so selfish, he should pass the ball, not shot all the time.

Character building game for Hertha Berlin team. They were 3 times behind and still they were attacking the game all the time and they equalized three times. Set pieces of Hertha have been deadly for mighty Bayern team. They scored 2 goals due to headers from set pieces and crosses. Cunha has scored the goal of the match, his dribbling is just exceptional. He made run breaking the entire Bayern defense and put the ball in the back of the net.

Bundesliga is competitive, Hertha have shown they made progress. They have the winning mentality. However, I need to admit, other Polish striker, Krysztof PiÄ…tek has disappointed. His game sharpness is not good enough. His performance against Bayern was sloppy and poor to be honest. Hopefully, he will improve over the current season. I don’t think one good pass and assist make the difference. He lost the ball many times, allowing Bayern to counter attack. He just cannot play worse. He is talented and great player, and he will prove he can win trophies.

Robert Lewandowski has world at his feet. Literally. He scored 4 times against Hertha, playing brilliantly. “Lewy” can scored from header, “tap-ins” inside the box and shot outside the box. His passes are accurate, his touches also, he is creative, imaginative and he is carrying his team right now, bit like Ronaldo and Messi their teams in the past. He holds the responsibility for Bayern. Currently, he is by far the best player on the planet and he deserves Ballon d’Or. He is not only central forward, he is play maker as well. His technical skills are at the same level, as Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Fati and Mbappe.

I think this season will be unpredictable until the very end. Lewandowski makes the difference Bayern need to be in the contention all down to the wire in Europe and in Germany, in Bundesliga. Fitness will be also the key. Hopefully, all top teams will avoid injuries. 2020/21 is the challenge clubs in Europe never faced due to pandemic, but I’m proud of Robert. You just have to be Bayern fan these days.

Aston Villa 7:2 Liverpool. History in the making for Villa fans. Wake up call for the Champions of England

Shocking result at Villa Park. Aston Villa won 7:2 against the champions of England, FC Liverpool. Watkins scored hatrick in first half. Liverpool defense has been dreadful in this game for the entire 90 minutes. Villa created chances and they have taken the advantage over powerless Liverpool and won in such a dominant fashion. It was great day for Villa fans and Premier League fans, apart from Liverpool and Manchester United supporters. Both teams lost their games conceding 7 and 6 goals in their fixtures respectively. You will never see something like that in one day in any other league in Europe. Two top teams lose their matches allowing their opponents to score 7 and 6 goals. Premier League is the most unpredictable league in Europe. It is the greatest entertainment you can possibly imagine. Unpredictability is the best word to describe Premier League.
